Realms Listed in Sunset Island (Part One) | Fandom (2024)

Hi Everyone! This is part one of a two involving the twenty realms used in the Sunset Island Pageant game. I’ll be using the names of each realm to try and make an assumption of what each realm is like. I’ll be covering ten in this part because having twenty realms in one post would be hard to read/type all at once.

(This is just for funzies and theories on what these realms could possibly be)

The first realm used in Sunset Island is called Vampiria. Vampiria is obviously a spin on the word “Vampire” which is a creature/monster that lives for many years, drinks blood, and will burn in sunlight.

Based on this information on Vampires, we can assume that’s what Vampiria’s population consists of, vampires. The environment of Vampiria is a dark valley covered by large mountains to protect them from the sunlight or a large cavern that they use to live in and are most likely a monarchy. Their status with the other realms is up in the air, at best they’re isolated and ignore the rest of the realms and at worst they are on the evil side of things and could have been involved in a few wars/trying to start one. If your character is dark, mysterious, troublesome yet charming, they might be from Vampiria

The next on, Ivuria, was a bit more difficult to research as I had no idea what it meant and it kept trying to autocorrect me. The info I found starts Ivuria means “Achiever, Supreme, Good Judger” and that got my wheels turning.

With this, I’ll assume that Ivuria is one of the more modern realms and the more wealthier ones, living in cities and probably being capitalist. They’re definitely a democracy (probably the first realm to become Democratic) and have a well structured court of law. They are well respected by other realms, though are often seen as arrogant and pushy. If your character is intelligent, a bit uptight, and intuitive, they are most likely from Ivuria.

Starune is the third realm and since I could not find a clear cut definition of the word all together I split it up into “Star Rune” which soon gave me a more clear idea of this realm. As star (pretty obviously by now) and Rune (Spell/Mark of Magic)

Starune is a galactic based realm with a heavy emphasis on magic as powerful spellcasters come from Starune. It’s most likely a limited monarchy as it shares its power with the monarch and the people. Starune is most likely a former colony that became its own thing and where many wizards, warlocks, and witches lived and practiced light magic. It’s one of the top realms and nearly everyone sees that place as perfect. If your character is bubbly, hardworking, and uses a spell book, they might be Starians/Starunians.

The fourth realm for today is Aurorion, which comes from the word Aurora. Two meanings came to my head on this, one is Aurora=Dawn/Sunrise and two is Aurora=Sleeping Beauty movie. So I decided to mush the two concepts together and see the results.

Aurorion is a fairly peaceful realm located in a hilly plains region surrounded by a forest. It, along with Dragonius, are the only places with known sightings of Dragons, though these are more rare and more mean. It’s a monarchy and despite its lack of involvement in wars, has one of the strongest militaries in all the realms as honor and pride are a big part of Aurorion’s legacy. If your character is prideful, confident, or falls into the typical prince/princess role, they might be from Aurorion.

Freyr is the fifth on the list and comes from the Norse god with the same name. In Norse mythology, Frey is the god of Sacral Kingship, battle, virility, peace, prosperity, sunshine, fair weather, and good harvest.

Freyr is most like a monarchy, though could almost be a council in charge, and are located in a mountain region and is only accessible through a rainbow bridge. It’s one of the best places of harvest and has some of the best weather conditions of all the realms. It’s a peaceful place, staying neutral in most outer realm affairs. If your character is peaceful, generous, and has great hair, they’re probably from Freyr.

Solaria comes from the term “Sol” which means “Sun” and that’s as much as I could come up with for the definition.

Solaria is a constitutional monarch, living in a large magical cloud where the sun always shines. It’s one of the most stable in terms of how it appears and is one of the oldest Realms (probably). It’s age helps it with wisdom and is known to have one of the greatest and oldest libraries of all time. If your character is smart, determined, and brave they might be from a place like Solaria.

Pheaxeria was another difficult one, but I was able to find out what “Phea” stood for and it was golden. “Phea” is a term for strong way of expression.

Pheaxeria is a art heavy realm, giving off a renaissance plus Hollywood vibe to it. It’s known for having some of the best writers, artists, and musicians anyone’s ever heard of. It’s where many movies are produced and often where people go to live out their hopes and dreams. If your character is creative, extroverted, and has that pizzazz to them, they are definitely from Pheaxeria.

Aquatica was fairly easy, Aqua is latin for water.

It’s the Atlantis of Royale High and where mostly mermaid and sea life reside, except this one isn’t lost. An interesting features of Aquatica is how it allows non aquatic life to travel in Aquatica, by putting them in bubbles which allows them to walk along. If your character is at all a mermaid or something along those lines, Aquatica is the place for you.

Poseides is of course from the Greek god, Poseidon and you may be thinking “If there’s already an Atlantis based realm, what to do with Poseides?” That’s where it comes to the city of Athens which Athena and Poseidon fought over the honor of being named after and Athena won (obviously) and that got me this idea:

Poseides is the Athens of Royale High. It’s near a mountain heavy region and uses Ancient Greek like building structures. It’s more of a democratic republic, electing a leader every once in and while, and never really had anyone Royale there to begin with (it began as a council based government) and is a very tourist heavy realm because of its location and architecture. It also has wells on every other corner so that’s something. If you are graceful, romantic, and charming, you might be from Poseides.

The tenth and final realm for today is Galexia, oh boy Galexia. It’s a spin off the word Galaxy, which is rather hard to make its own kingdom, hmm.

Galexia has a similar background of Starune, beginning as a colony before becoming a realm. Unlike Starune, which stays where it is and has a welcoming attitude, Galexia is constantly moving through space and it’s hard to get into Galexia unless you’re a Galexian. It’s very high tech, the most advanced out of any realm, even Ivuria, and is known for both Spacecraft and Space discovery. If you are from Galexia you are intelligent, adventurous and might be literally out of this world.

Good grief that was longer than expected.
