Deep Rock Galactic: The Best Weapons In The Game

The LMG Gun Platform makes its appearance again in this build, since it is the weapon that defines the Engineer. However, similar to the Stubby, the LMG Gun Platform is here only for suppressive fire while the big guns are reloading.

The Engineer's primary weapons consist of the "Warthog" Auto 210, the "Stubby" Voltaic SMG and the LOK-1 Smart Rifle. His secondary weapons consist of the Deepcore 40mm PGL, the Breach Cutter and the Shard Diffractor. The Engineer has four Throwables to pick from: The L.U.R.E.

Assault Rifles

The Cerberus Harrier (available through the Firefight DLC) can be exceptionally useful for the Engineer. When fully upgraded, its impact on power recharge speeds is negligible. This allows the Engineer to pack some heavy firepower in addition to their tech attacks.

Best primary weapon for Gunner? Thunder Cannon is good for multi target damage. Minigun is good for single target damage. Hurricane is a mix of both single target and multi target (depending on how you build it).

For passive perks, I like Born Ready, Veteran Depositor, and one of Vampire, Resupplier, Thorns, or Deep Pockets, though usually it's Resupplier. Active perks depend on the situation, for general purpose dives I go with Iron Will and First Aid.
